“In March of 2015, my wife and I were interested in getting tattoos to commemorate our time living in Austin, TX but I didn’t know what to get or where on my body to get it. Momentary Ink was born.” – Jordan Denny, CEDO & Founder
Brand Mission: Founded in October of 2015 and based in Philadephia, PA, Momentary Ink is the next-gen temporary tattoo company. Whether it’s to test-drive a future tattoo or enjoy a new accessory, we provide a “real” tattoo without the commitment thanks to our high-tech printing process and proprietary Real Teal matting solution.”
In my collaboration with the brand Momentary Ink I received the Enlightened Elephant, Be You, Bravely, Jeweled Chandelier, Straight Up, God is With Me, Travel Far Enough, and Lilly. I have not yet tried all of the tattoos, so I will update this review as I try them.
The Enlightened Elephant had to be discarded, unfortunately, as it seemed to be a smaller version blown up to meet the size I requested. Because of this the tattoo arrived grainy and pixelated with little detail.
The God is With Me tattoo arrived as pictured/requested. The application is super easy, with just three steps. The third mattifying solution really hides the edges of the temporary tattoo to give a more realistic feel. However, once that tattoo dries it becomes slightly more noticeable, but not much – don’t worry! As with other temporary tattoos it’s imperative that you let the tattoo dry and don’t rub it up against anything for as long as possible. I took my dog for a walk the day after application and most of the cross rubbed off with the leash, so just be careful with the location you choose. Try to place it in a location where it won’t see much activity!
